At the end of the race the crowd get a chance to invade the track ready for the traditional podium. I was able to get quite close, but a good zoom lens helps. After the winners have been presented with their trophies you get a chance to walk the track back to the camp site. Looking at the kerbs you can see just how much rubber is layed down during the race, and how much extra grip this gives.
